This project recreated the site-specific art intervention where a group of artists transformed abandoned village into the art inspired by the desert and the mountains around.
The exhibition space consists of three areas. The first “white box” exhibition hall, where you can see paintings, sculptures and art objects created by artists based on their journey to the desert. Some of the pieces are animated and can be brought to life by standing in a certain spots in the virtual space. The second area is the desert where you can walk through the abandoned village. The third spot is the construction zone (movie theatre) where every 10 minutes you can watch the documentary about artistic intervention.
The participating artists are: 10.203 / Anton Selone / Filippo Minelli / Lokher / Neda Salmanpoor.
