Scabbard: Italian vegetable tanned leather with through hand dyeing. The front parts of the leather were applied by hand unique linocuts with Italian penetrating paint for leather.

Sasha Trun, has been engaged in graffiti and street art since 1999. As both an organiser and active participant in one of the largest graffiti and street art movements, Trun is also part of three international graffiti collectives. Boasting a successful career, Trun has recently transitioned his skills into the realm of creating unique objects.
This Gift Knife, with a length of 21cm has been handcrafted skillfully by Trun. Each element, artisanally manufactured, starting with the blade material of Damascus, beautifully recognisable by the mottled pattern running through the steel blade. Underneath the metal is mammoth tooth with a copper spacer – all sitting perfectly on the lacewood handle.
The sheath is made from hand dyed Italian vegetable leather with the front parts of the patterned scabbard, applied by hand with unique linocuts and Italian penetrating leather paint, creating the final unique pattern. All fitting perfectly within the screen printed fabric bag.

Paisagem series
Italian contemporary artist Filippo Minelli created the “Paisagem” series in 2020, drawing inspiration from the landscapes along the Portuguese-Spanish border where his studio is located. In this series, Minelli combines natural materials transferred onto paper and canvas with photographic imagery depicting urban scenes marked by human intervention. This juxtaposition creates a dialogue between the untouched natural elements and the altered urban environments, inviting viewers to reconsider everyday items often overlooked. Through “Paisagem,” Minelli explores liminal spaces, both politically and aesthetically, challenging perceptions of contemporary landscapes. The Portuguese term for “landscape,” “Paisagem,” serves as a central motif in Minelli's work, reflecting his fascination with the interplay between nature and human influence.
