“Untitled (Shark)”, is a unique print captured by Antone Selone as part of the “Useless Palace” project led by Inloco.
Selone captures the artist Xeato’s environmental installation, which is connected to Xeato’s other work “Predator”.
This photograph highlights Xeato’s interest of “what once was” as whilst researching the desert landscape around him, he discovered that sharks used to once roam these unseen waters. Through photography Selone and Xeato work together to create an ironic image, with sleek compositions and somewhat sarcastic undertones.
The photography by Antone Selone was captured using a 60 year old Hasselblad film camera, Fujifilm 400h film. The work was printed on Hahnemulle barite paper with 350 GSM with a guarantee of 100 years. This is an edition 1 / 3.
