Selone (b. 1988, Russia) is a contemporary documentary photographer who has spent 15 years capturing and preserving street art. He has amassed an impressive archive featuring street artists from around the world and their works in various locations. His photography is marked by a unique atmosphere of a “live” moment, intentional casualness in development, and exceptional frame composition. Selone shoots both on film and digitally.

Inspired by the 90s hip-hop wave and skateboarding culture, he initially focused on documenting skateboarding before delving into graffiti photography. Selone concentrates on capturing the creative process rather than the finished product, highlighting the moments of reflection and self-criticism experienced by the artists. His artistic mission is to bridge the gap between emotions and creativity by documenting the evolving work of street art talents.
